Original Music on Vooks: Calm Tracks for Bedtime, Play, and the Car
Vooks produces its own music for children. It is not licensed background audio picked off a library — it is original material, composed and recorded for Vooks, and it sits alongside the audiobooks in the Vooks Audio Library.
What the collection covers
The music spans two broad moods:

Wind-down and bedtime — quiet tracks for the stretch after lights out, or the twenty minutes before it when a child is still buzzing

Play and car rides — brighter music for the parts of the day that aren't about settling down
Why this exists at all
An audiobook asks a child to follow something. Some moments call for that, and some don't. A child who is overtired, or overstimulated, or still wired an hour after they should have been asleep often cannot follow a story — narrative demands attention, and attention is the thing that has run out.
Music asks for nothing. It fills the room, sets a pace, and lets a child come down without having to track a plot. That is a genuinely different job from the one an audiobook does, which is why Vooks makes both.
How to play it
Music lives in the Listen section of the Vooks iOS and Android apps, in the Audio Library, and carries the same playback features as the audiobooks:
